James Nott

James joined out team in 2006 and works as an accountant and taxation adviser.  He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia.  James started his accounting career in 1968 working for one of the top four chartered accounting firms.  James has also worked for accounting firms in London.  In the past he wrote a series of booklets on GST when it was first introduced and contributed a fortnightly column in the Geelong Advertiser for twelve years.  He has lectured in tax at Deakin University and is a Past President of The Rotary Club of Geelong Central.  James enjoys travelling in France, the French language and culture, cricket and other sports and his Rotary Club.
