I am a business adviser and CPA Associate who specialises in agri-business advice. Operating throughout south-eastern Australia, I work with clients to review, analyse and develop efficient and profitable farm businesses. My focus is on ensuring the businesses are structured in a tax effective manner with clearly developed succession and estate plans. This work includes analysis of farm debt, financial management and budgeting, off-farm investment, and risk management strategies. I am also a guest lecturer in the Farm Management course at Marcus Oldham College; undertake corporate governance work with selected companies, I have co-authored a recent RIRDC publication on land leasing and a Churchill Fellow (researching leasing in the UK, Canada and the USA).
I studied economics and business law (Bachelor of Commence from The University of Melbourne); and politics (Graduate Diploma of Arts (Pol.Sci.) – also from The University of Melbourne); and have further post graduate qualifications in Accounting (Graduate Certificate in Accounting from Deakin University). I am also a fully qualified Financial Planner.
I am married with three children and enjoy camping, surfing, mountain-biking and rowing.
