We are half way through our Pronet Webinar Series, and the support and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Thank you so much to those who have attended to date and for your valued feedback.
In week 3 we have swapped presenters, on the 19th August at 6.30pmEST Justin Langer will present on the topic of ‘Being Resilient in Uncertain Times’, a fitting topic for the present day, with bush fires, drought, a pandemic and now floods in some areas.
Justin has a lifetime of experience in working with people and has learnt and trained in how to be an effective leader. When recently asked what makes a great leader for you? Justin responded with…
“They walk the talk, There’s an old saying that ‘if you preach excellence and walk mediocrity you’re nothing but a common liar’. Anyone can talk a good game, anyone. You must live the value, and know what you stand for, every day of your life. The pain of discipline is nothing like the pain of disappointment – It’s my favourite saying. You’ve got to be disciplined to make the right choices that’s all. Have honest conversations, they’ll build trust and trust builds more honest conversations it’s an upwards spiral. You absolutely have to have empathy and care about people too, it might actually be the number one thing and the number one trait of great leadership. Care for other people.”
